The Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & 临终关怀 offers several common spaces and amenities to guests and their families.
Outdoor activities
For your health, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is tobacco-free. Promoting a safe and healthy environment for our employees, 病人, 游客, 志愿者, and students is essential. Smoking is not allowed inside or outside of the buildings on campus.
The Jack Byrne Center gardens are open to 病人, their families, and 游客. A garden in front of the family kitchen and dining room is available for a short stroll or for sitting. For the safety of our 病人 and 游客, access to the gardens may be restricted after dark and during inclement weather. For the safety of our 游客, we ask that children are supervised at all times.
You may also wish to walk our beautiful medical center grounds. A walking path surrounds the main medical center. The Albert Schweitzer Walking Trail passes near the Jack Byrne Center. It will take you through the woods and can be accessed from the loop road. At the main hospital, a lovely 希望花园 is located next to the Norris Cotton Cancer Care Pavilion Lebanon. There is also a patio and children’s play area off the Dining Room on Level 2.

You can fill your prescriptions at the 药店 位于 3级 of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Lock your car and please do not leave pets or children unattended. If pets or children are found unattended in a car, Security will call the Lebanon Police Department. Cars parked in handicapped spaces must have special state-issued handicapped license plates or window stickers. 停车 is not authorized in numbered or reserved lots or spaces. 停车 violations can result in vehicles being booted or towed.
